Welcome to LUMC Youth!
We are a ministry of Lynnhaven UMC designed for students in grades six through twelve. Our students attend many schools throughout the area and their families draw from several communities in Virginia Beach so chances are good that you might find another student from your school among our group.
Our mission is to raise up disciples of Christ who are able to lead others into a life-changing relationship with Him, and we do that through Sunday morning connection time, mid-week small group Bible Study and games, service activities, youth retreats and mission trips. We provide opportunities for students to encounter and experience God through worship and His Word, through mission and service, and through meeting together regularly with other students and adults who are walking this same journey.
Our staff and volunteers love the Lord and have a heart for teens, and we always welcome parents and other adults to join us.
Please contact Marlene Passarelli (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you'd like more information or would like to be added to our list to receive our Weekly Youth News by email on Friday mornings. We hope to see you soon!
If you'd like more information on Lynnhaven UMC, visit the church website at https://www.lynnhaven.church or contact us. Our office phone is answered Monday through Friday from 9am to Noon, and you'll find e-mail addresses for all our staff under the ABOUT heading on our home page.

"...lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father, who is over all and in all and living through all." - Ephesians 4:1-6
