There is still space available in our Mothers' Morning Out program for mothers/grandmothers and children ages 18 months to 3 years.  This is a parent cooperative program that meets in the church nursery from 9 to 11:30am on Wednesday mornings during the school year.  An organizational meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 8th at 9am.  Bring your child and meet other moms who may be participating.  This program is open to those who attend LUMC, as well as members of the community.  Please call the church office at 340-5682 for more information or to register.

Sr. Highs will meet every Wednesday evening this fall (Sept. 8th through Nov. 17th) for Bible Study and fellowship from 7:00 to 8:15pm.  All students in Grades 9-12 are invited.  Meetings will be held in members' homes with the first meeting at The Cooneys' House.  (Watch for locations for upcoming meetings to be announced.)

Bring a dish to share and join us for food, fun & fellowship.  The "Oldies But Goodies" are open to all adults.

Join us on the 2nd Monday of every month for fellowship with a "missions" focus.  New members are welcome!  

Grab your family and friends, hop in your favorite ride, and pick your spot in the church parking lot!  Bring dinner for your family (plus a little extra for those students who come without their family).  We'll provide everything for BUILD-YOUR-OWN ICE CREAM SUNDAES.  See you there!

Welcome back to a new year in Sunday School! 

On September 12th, students will begin their new classes.  We have something for everyone, age 2 years through adults.  Sunday School classes offer an opportunity to dig deep into God's Word to discover the story of His love for us from the beginning of time and right through to today.  A story that's just as relevant today as it was 2,000 years ago.  Enjoy fellowship, encouragement and support, too, in a small group setting as we "share the journey" of faith together.

Bring your whole family to Sunday School this year!

Middle School Reality Check is back!  This year we'll be meeting on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:15pm for fun, fellowship, games, crafts, music & service.  Open to all students in Grades 6-8 and their friends.  (Adult volunteers are needed to lead and/or assist with this program.  Please contact Marlene if you can help or need more information!)

Everyone's invited!!!  If you don't know how to play, NO PROBLEM - we'll teach you .  There is a suggested donation of $5 to play and ALL proceeds go to benefit Missions.

All women are invited to join us for lunch in the Social Hall immediately following the 11am worship service as we celebrate 50 years of United Methodist Women at Lynnhaven!  Sign up in the Welcome Center.  (A nursery will be provided if needed.  Please request it on the sign-up sheet.)
