Our hometown connection to Africa comes through Brandon & Janico Walker who are currently serving "the poorest of the poor" in Mozambique with Iris Ministries.  

   "In our brief time of service we have seen the power of the gospel transform the lives of many people in Mozambique and Malawi. Children receive food and love that changes their lives.  The sick and disabled are given healthcare and transportation.  Widows receive education and community, which enables them to live in dignity.  On other occasions the Lord graces us with miracles and the blind see, the lame walk, and the dead are raised, which transforms the individual as well as the community."
