THANK YOU!

   Thank you to all who supported Faith in Action by your prayers and your service.  There were 195 members of LUMC who put their Faith in Action on October 25th!  Hearing your stories at the worship service and seeing the joy with which you served, we know that Christ's love was embodied in a special way on that day.  Check out the two videos from that event below.  And be sure to read the letter we received from one of the ministries served.

   There is a quote attributed to St. Teresa of Avila:  "Christ has no body on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours.  Yours are the eyes through which the world is to look out; yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good; and yours are the hands with which He is to bless us now."

So many in our world today are critical of "The Church," but when The Church follows Christ by feeding the hungry, caring for the sick, clothing those who need it, visiting prisoners, and welcoming strangers, the world can't help but be drawn to the Savior.  May we all continue to put our Faith in Action daily -- doing "small things with great love" -- until God's kingdom is established on the earth.
